The Weber turned out to be all I expected. I find myself using it at least weekly in its' bringing good eats to the Montgomery's household. Thanks for the wonderful service in its' delivery. I have come to rely on Amazon.com for most of my internet ordering. What turned out to be just books some 15 yrs ago has turned into a full menagerie of goodies. But believe me, I do comparison shop before placing my orders with Amazon. So you continue to out-perform the competition in both price and speed of service. You have earned my business. Let's hope it remains that way.
The Weber Performer grill is offers all the benefits of a Weber grill with a number of significant improvements. It is a charcoal grill with a gas lighter. The propane tanks are the small tanks that can be found at any hardware store for a few dollars; no more lugging the big 20-lb propane tank to the refill center. The table is at a better, higher level than previous models. The Amazon price was the best I could find anywhere.
This is the standard that Weber always puts forth. I did find the grill forty dollars cheaper the very next week but ......what can ya do?? Don't hesitate if your thinking of buying....this is our second weber of this style and the last one held up with round the year use for 9 years.
Grill surface was more than ample.the work table came in Handy.This is the Best Weber i ever had.
My girlfriend and I LOVE this grill. It was VERY easy to assemble and is very easy to use. I love the hybrid of a propane starter with charcoal for actual cooking. Nothing is better than the charcoal flavor. The bucket for holding charcoal is very durable and convenient. Also love the charcoal holders so you can distribute the heat without any of the mess/hassle.
this grill is the best of both worlds. it combines the flavor of charcoal and the ease of gas. the side table is very sturdy. now i dont have to use charcoal lighter any more which makes your food taste funny. the assembly was very easy, weber has idiot proofed the instructions.
I purchased this grill after seeing it and registering for it at Target for my wedding. When we didn't receive it as a gift, we were going to purchase it, but it cost $340 for the grill and about $250 for shipping from Target. I searched for it on amazon and got free shipping and save on the cost by $40 plus tax. We love the grill and its design.

The added convenience and clean burning startup gas adapter provides a pure charcoal taste with no petro-chemical taste effect. Add the charcoal bag holder temp guage and you have a great package without having to go to a gas grill.
This is an AMAZING charcoal grill! It takes the work out of cooking with coal by incorporating a propane ignition system. You simply put the coal in, press a button, and let it go for a few minutes until the coals are lit!
The classic Weber kettle style grill has a proven track record for fantastic and very versatile outdoor cooking. The added convenience of propane ignition, ash catcher, work surface, and stow-away coal bin make this a sure winner!
While a bit pricey, the quality of this grill should provide a lifetime of use if properly cared for.
This grill has changed how we enjoy our patio and grilling. Putting together took some time but now that I've been using it for 8 months, I can say I couldn't live without it. It makes grilling so easy and everything works as advertised. I highly recommend it.
